With its roots in mission, Ulsterville has maintained a strong interest and involvement in missions at home and abroad.
Within a few years of its being founded, Ulsterville erected the first of three Mission Halls for mission on its doorstep.
In the decade after the second World War, seventeen of its young men and women entered Christian service as missionaries. Others trained as ministers of the PCI. The earliest missionary dates back to 1909 when two went to Canada on mission work.
This interest in missions at home and overseas is well documented in the publication, "A History by C T E Carson" (see publications).
