What we offer...

As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, Ulsterville's life and work is enriched by that Reformed tradition and by its good relationships with neighbouring congregations of other traditions.

The congregation continues a long tradition of being evangelically orientated and missionary interested.

We endeavour to offer

  • Worship with a blend of traditional and contemporary praise and preaching that loosely follows the Revised Common Lectionary.
  • Holy Communion of the Lord's Supper which is celebrated six times a year alternating between morning and evening. We consider this Eucharist or Thanksgiving to be an important meeting place with Christ.
  • Pastoral Care of the sick and elderly being provided by the minister, elders and Church Visitors. Our cassette ministry plays an important part in this.
  • Fellowship in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Opportunities for developing personal ministries in the activities of the congregation.
  • Engagement on a regular basis with our neighbouring churches in shared worship and mission. This autumn we hold a joint Alpha on the Road in Fane Street Primary School on Wednesdays at 7pm.
  • Full participation in the wider work of the PCI through the local Presbytery of Belfast South.
